Film Review > Into The Wild
People who know me will recognise me when I say that I’m a passionated person (for the others at least I unveiled one of the six mysteries behind my tumbleblog name). Generally, I like or don’t and I don’t restraint myself to say it. I don’t play so much in that grey zone… But when it’s about film, everything is a bit more made of shades of grey. This is...

Something that you are not
Experiments are experiences designed to test theories. When we intentionally expose ourselves to new experiences we assume that something will happen, some change will occur. The dream of change is the reward that drives us to repeat the same experiences even when they don’t deliver the expected results. Marketing sells you the promise and the illusion of change. Marketing is pure entertainment. ...

The Four-Winged Dinosaur and the Origin of Flight
Tonight I watched The Four-Winged Dinosaur on PBS NOVA. Each time I have the chance to watch NOVA, it’s like watching a mystery movie. It’s so interesting that I cannot stop watching it until the end. Even my girlfriend, got caught and watched it, missing her favorite weekly show. Starting from February 27, the Four-Winged Dinosaur will be available to watch online. ——  I...

Decoy And Roy - Inner Life trance I don’t why, but I cannot stop myself listening to this trance track over and over. The video clip is ultra cheesy, so it’s probably better to listen to it through Songza, the best music search engine ever created.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles →
I’m watching the show for about six weeks now and I must say that I’m kind of impressed by the quality of the show. When I heard about it first I was sure it will be VERY cheesy, but the screenwriters did a good job at respecting the spirit of the movies and novels. At the end of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” Sarah vanquished the Terminator sent from the future to kill her...

The iPhone is now available in 8 and 16GB, the iPod Touch in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB and surprisingly the Shuffle in 1GB and now in 2GB. I must say that I have the iPod Shuffle 1GB and the iPod Touch 8 GB. After having used the iPod Touch for a couple of months I went back to the Shuffle. I simply love it. Nothing can beat its size, weight and ease of use (the control being always a digit away).

What Iraq will cost the U.S.? →
I read this very interesting article in the Fortune magazine of last month by the ex-White House economist Lawrence Lindsey on the cost of war in Iraq. I’m against the war, specially because I stongly don’t think the real purpose of Bush administration is to eradicate terrorism, but Lindseay bring an interesting perspective, the question we rarely ask, what was the cost of the...

Yesterday I was looking for a good video capture software for Max OS X. I used for the last year the clumsy, memory and CPU intensive Snapz Pro. I found in iShowU a versatile, easy to use, not memory and CPU intensive and best of all, with no encoding time necessary - soon as you have finished your video recording, the video is...

Long time ago, at least it sound like it in our Internet Age, I was using Maxthon (also known as MyIE2), a freeware web browser based on Internet Explorer. That browser was amazing, not only because it adds tabs to the current Internet Explorer 5, but also because everything was thought to improve your browsing experience. It took me a long time before switching to Firefox, at least until all the...

Everybody backup (at least I hope for you that you do). We do it on DVD, on external hard drives and we wish everthing goes well for a eternity.
