iPhone Sonic Lighter - The Social Viral Lighter. →
Here’s why people are going crazy for Sonic Lighter, and are willing to pay $.99. Smule has built in social and viral features that are helping this spread like mad, and they also give this ridiculous but effective incentive to use the app all the time.
You can optionally share your location information with the application, and when you light it you show up on a virtual earth-like globe.

Muxtape Is Dead - Favtape Emerges as a Great... →
One of the most important differences with Muxtape is that you do not have to upload any songs to create a mixtape. Instead, Favtape lets you search for your music and add it to your playlists. To do this, Favtape makes use of SeeqPod’s APIs.
I don’t see how the RIAA can have a case against FavTape… We’ll probably be able to keep this one.
Shai Agassi's Audacious Plan to Put Electric Cars... →
Shai Agassi. 38, was predicted to have a glorious future in the software and hardware industries at SAP. When he quited last year, he tooks everybody by storm.
Now, he has no more a job, he has a mission: To end our dependency to oil with a whole new business model for the auto industry… nothing less.
Once and while I read an article where my mind is just blown away by the dedication of...

iPhone, A Revolution
You get a sense of the revolution of Apple’s iPhone when RIM/Verizon and T-Mobile/HTC come out with their Blackberry Strom and HTC Dream/Google Android.
What ever you say or do, Apple is and will always be a step ahead.

Analog Meets Its Match in Red Digital Cinema's... →
This morning in the bus and subway I took the time to read the article on Jim Jannard’s new dream-company project, Red Digital Cinema and his new revolutionary 4k HD camera with image processor and lens that gives back what every filmmaker is looking for: the look and feel of analogue.
It’s very interesting to read about how Jim is changing the industry with his new Red camera that...
The SAGA Companies →
The SAGA companies do very different things and are of hugely different sizes. At the most basic level, each has transformed not only a specific commercial marketplace but also some important aspect of contemporary life. In doing so, each has had an appreciable impact on our daily routines, taken on a looming presence in popular culture, and often engendered an intensity of feeling more often...

UX > Musicovery - Interactive WebRadio →
Listen and discover music along your genre taste (20 genres from classical to funk) and mood (ernergetic, calm, dark, positive) with an interactive interface.
The interface is a bit “sweet bonbon”, but it works pretty well.

Apple - iPod - In-Ear Headphones →
Can someone tell me why the hell the new in-ear headphones announced yesterday by Apple that feature a control capsule located on the cable (for volume and playback) and also a microphone is not compatible with the new iPhone 3G?
If at least there was no microphone I could understand, but any otherwise, just upgrading the firmware on the iPhone should suffice. Now we are stock with crappy...

TV Serie Review > Entourage - Season 5
Yesterday, returning home, I watched the first episode of Entourage season 5 on my iPhone. God that I missed that show since the early final of season 4 (only 12 episodes compare to the usual 20 caused by the Writers Guild strike) .
I really enjoyed to see all the team together again: Vince, Turtle, Drama, Eric and the very colorful Ari (Without him, there is simply no show).

Nothing Extraordinary From Apple Today →
Finally, I’m less than impress by the latest products from Apple today. Yes a new stylish design for the Nano, a iPod Touch finally how it was supposed to be from the start (with a external volume control and speaker) and a new iTunes 8 with Genius playlist that suggest related songs to what you are listening (what Last.fm is doing already from day 1).
If I was a journalist and they told me...
Briton Invented The iPod, Not Apple →
A very very interesting article about the idea of the first solid state drive portable music player. We are talking about 1979 here!
Kramer came up with the idea for a pocket-sized, portable solid state music player with a friend, James Campbell. Kramer was 23, Campbell 21. The IXI System had a display screen and buttons for four-way navigation. In a report presented to investors in 1979, the...
Google News Archive - Articles in Context →
Newspaper headlines without a context of the importance the editor gave to each of them in the print layout is like giving each news a comment weight.
The new Google News Archive gives to the user, add to the indexable text version, the article in context of the real scanned newspaper page.
Good thinking.

TV Serie Review > Fringe
Along side all the other shows I will watch next season, I certainly will add Fringe. It’s the fourth TV series co-created by J. J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias, Lost).
I’m very reluctant to add some tv series to my already too long list of tv shows that I’m already watching, but as I’m a fan of Abrams’s tv series since Felicity, Alias and Lost, I cannot at least have a...

Film Review > In Bruges
This morning I begun watching the film In Bruges on my iPhone and just finished it tonight.
The verdict: Other than the screen is a bit small, I don’t ever wanna see Collin Farrell in an American movie anymore. He’s an incredible actor, but he needs to stay close to his roots: Irish.
The movie is so well written, and the dialogues between the actors so good that I watched almost...
