Apple already sold 100 millions copies of the iPod nano. It’s the most popular music player in the world. The revise version will sell like hot cakes:
- Video Camera (VGA 640x480 H.264 ACC 30 fps, but no still pictures just video!)
- Larger 2.2 inches display
- Microphone (at the back of the iPod, just on the top of the camera) and speaker (probably at the same hidden place as the iPod Touch, behind the connector).
- VoiceOver (Same functionalities as in the shuffle)
- FM radio tuner with tune and artist display + live pause up to 15 minutes (Nice!)
- Built-in pedometer that you can connect with the Nike+ (so no need anymore for the connector addons).
It’s so amazingly small and full of features, I’m telling you again: It will be a killer. The most popular video camcorder, The Flip, should be scared.
The new iPod nano are available right now and their prices are $149 for 8 Gig and $179 for 16 Gig (Who the hell will take the 8 Gig at $30 difference?).
I wonder why they didn’t add any camera to the iPod Touch? That, I really don’t understand. Probably just a matter of delay on the production line.
