It is important that we put clients in positions where they don’t judge our work based on the design of templates but their interaction with what we are going to build for them. Their interaction is with the copy and the interface more then anything. Design just gives it that extra punch. (Click through wireframes that Julien creates are great for this)

We love or hate sites based on our experience with them… our interaction with them… a website’s experience is made up of part interface, part copy and part design. Copy is probably king and something we too often leave as an after thought. Copywriters have to be at the table with experience designers/IAs and designer.
