Lego Matrix - Trinity Help

Believe it or not, the movie The Matrix is celebrating its 10th anniversary. I know I didn’t believe it either until I went at IMDB to see when the film was released. Yes! 1999.

To celebrate the anniversary, Trevor Boyd and Steve Ilett passed 440 hours (about 10 hours per second of film) creating this AMAZING Lego animation. They even created a special camera, The Orbital Camera Rig, for the time bullet scene!!!

And they are not professional animators. This is just their second attempt at Lego animation (here’s the first one).

I HIGHLY recommend you see their website, the making of, the funny, but oh instructive FAQ page, their YouTube channel page with all the BTS videos and mainly this video where you see each scenes side by side.

They are so fucking maniacs that to create the intro and credits scenes, Trevor wrote a program, the LegoBoard, to produce a realistic grid of black Lego studs with any number of 1x1 Lego tiles on it.

I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m already a HUGE fan.
