App stores charge money for mobile ‘apps’ and nobody flinches because they’re not viewed as part of the Web. Desktop software enjoys the same general perception.

What Would We Pay For In Today’s Web?

In this freecomomics world, I could not even say better. A well done Web app should not be free. Just for the sake that you need to learn at appreciating what you use.
