Apple WWDC 2010 App Wall

Is Apple selling any iPhone and iPad apps on his App Store? Just watch this wall of 30 24” Cinema Displays fill up in matter of seconds.

Each display can contains 360 apps (24 x 15) x 30 displays = 10,800 apps. The visualization represents only the most popular apps being sold. In this video, we can see the wall fill up in about 20 seconds!

The visualization is powered by Cocoa, OpenCL, and Quartz Composer and uses a nearly real-time XML feed from the App Store.
