Firemint RealRacing GTI
The most exalting game on the iPhone EVER. Enter the race for an adrenaline rush.
Real Racing is so visually stunning and outstanding in technical achievements that the guys at Firemint should have squeezed (not by hand, neither with an extractor, but probably with a warhammer) all the juice this little CPU core in the Apple iPhone 3G could give.
I specially like how Firemint succeed at offering a free version of the best racing game on the iPhone with Volkswagen, promoting their latest Golf GTI.
If by the end of the little career you can have in this free version (3 tracks) you haven’t buy the full game, it is probably that you have decided to buy the new Volks and are at your dealer right now!
The full game unlocks 12 tracks, 48 cars and the multiplayer mode over WiFi with up to 5 of your friends.

Geo-Defense iPhone Game
The best tower defense type game ever been build, all platforms considered.
It’s so good,I consider it my second best game ever on the iPhone after Aurora Feint.
Here’s a very interesting interview with David on the IGN game network, who conceived and programmed the game over a period of six months in his spare time.

I’m the first and best game of the holidays
StoneLoops! Is certainly the best puzzle game for the iPhone I’ve played since Aurora Feint. It’s challenging enough with a good 15 hours of play for only 0.99$ at the Apple App Store.

Doodle Jump. In this simplistic iPhone game your only goal is to jump always higher and higher. Your score is cummulated on a cloud board with all the game’s players, giving you even more reasons not just to try to beat your own score, but the score of the other players.
Flight Control from Firemint Mobile Games Studio is probably the most addictive game in the Apple App Store. You are so compelled to beat your own score that you cannot let the game down. You find yourself playing over and over.
It’s a very simple game where, as a flight controller, you are in charged to indicate the path each of the aircrafts (big transporter, small transporter, biplane and helicopter) need to follow to get to their unique landing marks. The game gets touchy when you are confronted to land more than fifteen aircrafts of different types at the same time in your airport. You can get a glimpse of what is like by watching the Flight Control game demo video on YouTube.
Flight Control is in the number one position on the top 25 paid apps list for more than 3 weeks now with a 4.5 rating by over 400 reviewers. I’m not the only one addicted to it!
Certainly the best free game on the App Store at the moment.
So good I missed my bus stop TWICE going home this week (and we are only tuesday).
The basic gameplay is to arrange three blocks in a row, either vertical or horizontal. But what’s unique is the Role Playing component to the game along with level-ups which provide you with useful skills such as “Time Stopper” and “Strategist”. These level-ups can aid in gameplay and increase your multipliers. The graphics and music are also of impressive quality.
