But what I much like over everything else is this amazing application launcher. I could not think using a computer all day long without it. It is like Dropbox, essential to my life in front of a screen and keyboard.

I like simple copy like this: “We are designers who think in code”. You already have a good idea of what they are doing and they that will do it with a great attention to details.
If you look at their upcoming web app Dropmark to share various media collections with others, it looks certainly well coded and designed right down to the color choice of pixels.

Great copy. I like that in two phrases you know who they are and what they do (also with an attitude).
I’m currently working on an agency website and I was poking around here and there to find inspiration. I do find that the greatest one, are the ones that succeed to simply talk to me, often with a minimalist design.
To me, it all starts from great copy, nothing else. The container is accessory. If you succeed to say who you are, what you do and why in a simple short manner, by going straight to the point, tinted with your personality, then you have me hooked. From there I just wish to know more and explore everything about you.
Copy is certainly one of the greatest art.

It is pretty rare these days, that I’m jaw dropping for a web site, but The Great Discontent is one of them. Classy, clean, focus, responsive (compatible on all platforms from the fullscreen view to iPhone). The content is so interesting that I cannot wait for the next interviews each week. This site is a wonder from all angles.
